Currently Pierre prepares a new version 1.91.6 with some minor enhancements and changes.

In XnView 1.91.6 there will be new strings:

Code: Select all

#define TXT_NviewMenu_Print_Tabs              "Print all tabs..."
#define TXT_NviewMenu_ShowGPS "Show GPS in Google Map"
#define TXT_Use_Bitmap_As_Background "Use checkerboard as background"
#define TXT_String_Format_Method_211          "2x2,1x1,1x1 (default)"
#define TXT_String_Format_Method_111          "1x1,1x1,1x1 (best quality)"

Some suggestions with request for feedback from native speakers:

Print all tabs... -->
Print opened images...
(We don't print tabs ;-) )

Show GPS in Google Map -->
Show GPS location in Google Maps
(In Google Maps the GPS location is shown (not the GPS).)

Use checkerboard as background -->
Use chequerboard pattern as background
(British English: chequerboard)

Changes have been made in the 1.91.6 final...

...except a minor one:

• Hi !
(British English: chequerboard)
• As figurative, it's chequered pattern according to my Oxford's dictionary…
- “chequerboard” is the thingy on which one plays chess…

Sounds reasonable to me. What's the native speakers' opinion?

From what I can see there are some new translations which haven't been listed here:

"Default "Copy to" directory" (in options "General > File operations")
"Default "Move to" directory" (in options "General > File operations")

@Pierre: Could you please send the translators those strings?
