1.91.6: Problem with full screen & interpolation
Posted: Sun Oct 21, 2007 11:54 am
Hi guys!
I'm not sure I'm posting in the right place, please tell me if I am.
I'm using version 1.91.6fr, & there is a bug that seems to have been here for a while (Windows XP).
I've set up the program so that
there is a high quality zoom (for zooming in & out)
when I open a picture file with the Windows Explorer, it opens in full screen
the interpolation seems to be good (high quality, i.e. non closest neighbor) when I open the file, but as soon as I start to zoom in or out, it comes back to closest neighbor (i.e. quick interpolation, & pixelly). Then, if I click F11 to exit full screen, double click on the picture I wanna see in the XnView File Explorer & then click again on full screen (F11), it opens in high quality interpolation, & zooming in or out is done in HQ interpolation (i.e. slow but good quality).
I guess it sounds like a bug
to me, didn't see any mention of it in the archives.
Or did I set up something in the wrong way?
If you want any more information &/or report, please tell me.
Thanks for reading, & congratulations to the single coder for this amazing project.
