Default directory at opening

Using Xnview 1.91.4 (for Windows) with Wine in Linux, as the Linux version of Xnview really sucks ( no offence intended, I really like this program!)
How can I change the directory where Xnview opens at start-up?
Thanks
Franz

May be it is a Wine issue (not your fault...), but whatever address I set as you suggested, Xnview still opens at the dir where it was closed the first time I did run the program.
I tried both setting a given dir and setting Xnview to open at the last visited dir, but the result does not change.
Still possibly a Wine issue rather than Xnview's, I can't find an ini or txt or bat file where the "opening" directory adrress is memorized.
In the worst case, should it not be possible to find a solution, I will uninstall Xnview and reinstall it, taking care, at first use, to go only to the dir I want it to open at. But i don't like this kind of remedies....
Many thanks and regards

I tried everything I could, but still XnView opens always at the same directory, regardless what I set in Options!
Anything else you may suggest?
Thank you for your work!

I haven't been able to test for a while, but perhaps it has to do with saving settings in the registry on wine? You can try setting it to use an ini file in options->system integration, instead; it might like that better.
