Show all files question

I often use the "show all files" option when I want to look at all my photos (I have lots of subfolders). When I find a thumbnail of a photo I want to view in full screen mode, I double click on the photo. This all works perfectly. Then I close the view of that photo and return to the thumbnail view. At this point the "show all files" has been reset and I am now only viewing the folder that contained the photo that I just viewed. I am using version 1.91.6.

Is there some setting or alternate method that would allow me to continue viewing all the subfolders and thumbnails in this "show all files" mode?

Use the browser's fullscreen preview function (<F11> a highlighted thumbnail). Pressing <F11> again will return directly to the full list.
