XnView Software

Hello !

First, let me apologize if my english is a little strange, it's not my mother language. Still, I do hope this will be conprehensible.

I'm having little difficulty with xnview.ini.
I downloaded mini.zip file from the website, and started it from my hard drive. It created .ini file in ...documents\settings... which I moved to the install directory, and started xnview again, again he created another xnview.ini in ...documents\settings... directory.
I tried repeating the above procedure (moving the file from ...documents\settings...), and starting xnview with xnview xnview.ini, ... again the .ini file got created.

Is there some way to avoid creating the above mentioned file, and just keep all of xnview in one directory ?

Open xnview, goto:
Options\system integration\ and select "as ini in folder" --> XnView (user, xnview,windows).
Same for "Folder used for others files"--> XnView(user, xnview,custom), just below.
Then you should have almost all actives configurations files located in the Xnview directory.

Thank you for a very quick answer. It worked. Is there any way to stop him from creating that database file in ...documents\settings... directory, as well ?
I'm trying to set up xnview so it doesn't leave any traces on the host computer.

Yes, for xnview.db :
In options\thumbnails\cache\ and uncheck "enable caching"
or
Use folder "custom" and select a custum directory.
