Browsing in ZIP archives

XnView 1.91.6 "complete" package / Windows XP Pro SP2 (English, locale set to Japanese)
I've noticed several anomalies when browsing ZIP files using 1.91.x.
1) When in details view browsing in a ZIP, images have random incorrect or missing "file type" icons (frequently it shows things from shell32.dll like folder icon, the My Computer icon etc).
2) I have experienced random crashes shortly after browsing to some ZIPs. So far I cannot reproduce on demand or correlate to anything specific.
3) Categorizing images within the ZIP behaves badly. Seems like a single group of images can be added to a category successfully, but subsequent category operations break the database entries for them. i.e., adding image 1 works. adding another image 2 causes image 1's entry to be broken.
More details about the categories problem can be found here. Note that I originall thought this only affected ZIPs with Japanese filenames, but I just tested again with a "test.zip" and had the same behavior.

Let me know if there's any more details or tests that would be helpful.
