See thumbnails?

I feel stupid posting such a simple question here, but:
In XnView, how do you see thumbnails of the current folder's images?
I thought there might be a "Thumbnails" command on the View menu, but no---and I don't see anything on the other menus.
The Help's "Thumbnail" page is blank. (Its sub-pages have lots of details about using thumbnails, but they don't say how to see them in the first place.)
Maybe this could be a bit simpler...?
Thanks, Ander

Hi Ander123,
to start with, check in the menu "View" -> "View as" that you have chosen "Thumbnails" or "Thumbnails and labels" from the alternatives.
Not in View

Hello ! Welcome aboard !
• There is no “View as…” entry in the View menu when you have the
View mode (the main window).
You ought switch to the browser mode, where that item is present.
- When you display an image in View mode, you can get it in the browser by several ways…
- Just open the browser via the first button @ left on the Tool-bar,
- Configure : Options (F12) >> Keyboard¦Mouse to get the browser by clicking the image (several choices, like you prefer).
Note : BTW, you posted in the wrong section, this one is for the board issues¦improvement and so on…
“
General Support” is the right one in the case.

Kind regards,
Claude

Hi guys,
Ah, I see. I'd closed the browser, because I didn't want to see thumbnails every time I opened a single image. But it's easy to double-click the image to show the browser again---very nice! Thanks.

But didn't I post in General Support? That's where we are now---or did you move my post here? (I'd just like to understand what you meant.)
Moved---

Hello !
• Hm… You forgot to log in…
• An Admin or a Mod has moved your message to the right forum,
I can't do that here, I have “
some” messages, but not any post in this forum.
- Usually, they add a note, but he forgot (or missed time to do).

Ander123, there's a setting for that:
Tools »
Options... »
General »
Startup »
Launch Browser at Startup.
