Pierre,

Further to my direct communication regarding a problem in displaying Caption-Caption tags with an apostrophe in it (example file sent):

When I removed the apostrophe, the display was correct. Re-instate the apostrophe and the problem re-occurred.

Since sending you an example file I have discovered that images in other folders which have ITPC Caption-Caption tag with an apostrophe were displaying correctly??!!

I have since changed the text of the original problem images, while retaining the apostrophe, and the problem has disappeared.

Throughout the above, the apostrophe containing IPTC Caption-Caption tag were displaying correctly in Nikon software and other software (eg PhotoME ).

It may be timely if other testers could check if this problem occurs on their NEF (or other RAW) files.

PETER

:) Hello !

• Just a friendly remark aside :
That you name “apostrophe” on your example is a parenthesis¦bracket.
The apostrophe is (usual from the keyboard) ' or “curly” (inactive in programmation, #146)

- Or is it the colon : outside ? :?

- Sorry, I don't see any apostrophe there.

- It's not hairsplitting, it's only to make the message clear and understandable by all readers (the Author prior).
- Please, show a real example with the damn apostrophe, and also try a #146 instead, to see what occurs ;)

Yes, I have just tested a modified copy of the beta 2 emailed to me by Pierre and the IPTC listings in Preview pane are now correct.
