Watermark dialog: Setting Position

In the new dialog "Watermark" (Image -> Watermark...) there are various issues. I'm posting indivdual topics for easier handling.

== Postion control
In the "Watermark" dialog there are 7 buttons for setting the position of the watermark. I wonder why the control used in dialog "Canvas size" (Image > Canvas size" isn't used: A drop-downlist with the possible values (Top-Left, Top-Center, ...) and a small control for setting the position directly.

Is there a reason why "Center - Left" and "Center - Right" are missing?

Don't know why i haven't used "canvas size" control. Here i think buttons are better...

To say it in clear words: "The buttons are horrible.".
1.) So much space in the dialog used for a single control (English button labels might be short, but there are many other translations).
2.) There's a much neater and efficient control available, already.
Please change the control in the "Watermark" dialog. The way it is now is no good at all.

O.k. The control in "Canvas size" and "Watermark" are 100% identical, so the same control should be used. (not the buttons). (Note: Offering different controls for the same thing is an absolute no-no for GUI design.)
