Extremely tight and beautiful thumbnail view request

Hello everybody
what an INCREDIBLE program this is
An you're even putting the suggestions of the users into it, that's just gold
I'm an artist that likes every program that has as little text in it as possible and as much visual aid as possible.
So I modified my thumbnail-view of the XNView like that, to contain no text at all.
And it looks and works like a dream
Double-clicking the thumbs put the images in full-screen, and back. Awesome!
But,
since I'm such an artist, I so much would like to have an option to have the thumbnail-view also to cover all the screen real-estate possible, like fullscreen-image-viewing does. There would even be the option to put the scrollbars unvisible, so that only the thumbnails would be filling up the space. (Scroll-wheel, and arrow-keys would handle the scrolling.)
I made a concept about what I'm talking about:

Also, I would like the thumbnails to be as close to each other as possible. In fact, I would like to have even negative values on that border-spacing-option! So that I could make the thumbnails to overlap each other, like I accidentally managed to do in one of my try-outs somehow:

In this way the thumbnails would seem like photograps tossed on the floor and you could browse the whole pile, but with mouse. I would like something like that
Very intuitive, I think, and what a space-saver!
Thanks,
I really hope some of my earthly wishes could come true
