Preview not updated when selecting video or sound

I think it's a bug in browser:

Scenario:
XnView 1.74
Options->Browser/Preview/PlaySound: UNtagged
Options->Browser/Preview/PlayMovie: UNtagged

:bug: Now, when you select a sound or a movie in the browser, The last seen image (or text file) remains in preview area instead of blanking it.

A wonderful program, anyway. THANKS.

Sorry i don't understand. Why last seen picture must be replaced by blank page?

I can reproduce and confirm this:
1.) With the above options unchecked, you select an image in the browser. The preview will show the image.
2.) Then you select a video or sound file.
-> The preview will still display the image. This is a bit confusing/irritating.

Think instead the video control should be displayed. Then, the user can decide whether he/she wants to play the sound or movie.

For videos, it would be good if the first frame was displayed as preview. With the right plug-in installed and option activated, the first frame is displayed as thumbnail, but the preview is just blank. :bug: Instead, the preview should show the first frame.

One bug or two bugs? I think it's two of them.
