1.91.1 RAW Viewing in Fullscreen

Fullscreen mode ignores "raw full size" option (seen with cr2 format). Instead it uses the embedded view. This occurs *only* if you have XNview configured to directly use fullscreen, bypassing the regular viewer.

In other words, if the regular viewer is able to compute the full Raw, than the Fullscreen viewer just takes that full Raw. But since the fullscreen alone doesnt decode Raw, it just takes the best what it haves, in this case the embedded preview.

I cannot confirm this with my CR2.
You have Options... Browser>Preview>Camera RAW setting which controls browser's fullscreen preview. Please check this, and reselect image to see if change occurs.

Ok, it works now for me. I was aware of the 2 options. I assumed the Option under "Fullscreen" would be responsible for the Fullscreen Raw preview and the Browser>Preview>Camera RAW for all other cases. Im amazed a bit about the naming now :)

do either of you know how to make xnview stop auto-correcting its
display of cr2 images? defeats the purpose of using raw.

thanks,
