The 'Use database' option and tags

In browser>thumbnails>Icon info, there is an option named:
[ ]Use database to store file information
Tags are remembered when list is not cleared regardless of the other options in this section.
Tagged file list must be cleared: [never]
Proposal: Remove option along with Database info [x] selections. Perhaps the save options which store ini/other files in location of user's choice make the 'disable dB' options superfluous?
I'm not even sure that users need to know what a database is, much less fine tuning of it to save a miniscule amount of disk space.
