Hiding custom fullscreen descriptive text

Suppose descriptions are added to the current values used for full screen information text (making the existing functions more meaningful):
Where "text_" or "text_[]" is the commentary and what is between "<>" is fixed by program:
ISO_[<ISO Value>]
Shutter_Speed_<Shutter Speed>
If such additional comments are used beyond the <>, they are always shown regardless of whether the image has actually has has any Exif information (as expected).
I suggest that a particular character (underscore _ ) be chosen to where if image has no relevant metadata, the custom descriptions are automatically hidden.
So when ISO_<ISO Value> is used "ISO_" will not be shown on screen when no ISO value is found. A cosmetic suggestion, but I think it looks better to show nothing rather than an empty value in a custom field.
