1.93.6: normalize function results black image

Thanks for XNView! It's been my favourite app for keeping my digital images in order and shape for years.

Unfortunately the 1.93.6 version seems to have pretty annoying bug, aka the image/map/normalize function makes all images plain black, which I don't recall has happened before with any previous versions. My OS is Windows XP pro SP2 and the previous XNView version I had was 1.91. And I also have the K-Lite Mega Codecpack installed (my current is 3.85) that has had some buggy components before interfering with some general graphic ins and outs of windows if that's information of any relevance.

Hope that's a known problem and will be fixed soon. Otherwise 1.93.6 seems to be working fine, for what I need - at least. Thanks again and I hope to see many more XNView updates coming for years to come!

All the best!

:) Hello !
…the image/map/normalize function makes all images plain black, …
• I can confirm. I checked in old versions (1.8 series), that doesn't occur.

 Kind regards,

My forum avatar becomes black with that function (but not the other normalize).

Yes, right with your icon forum avatar the result is black (with : image\adjust\normalize) but it's a exception because this function works for all other files I have tested yet.
