XnView and Nero 8

I found that after installing XnView under WinVista, in the same partition as Nero 8 Burning ROM Suite, Nero was corrupted and had to uninstalled, reinstalled. Then after Nero reinstall; now XnView is gone; the subdirectory is no longer there. Anyone else had this problem. I am hesitant to reinstall XnView for fear of recorrupting Nero.
