Empty folders greyed out/italic

I would find it helpful if empty folders would be shown as empty in the directory tree of the browser window.

This could be done by using grey as font color and/or by using an italic font.

Of course checking each folder for contents takes (a bit of) time so I would propose to give this feature lower priority than thumbnail building and other tasks.
The browser would then start showing all folder names as usual and if there is CPU time available it can check if folders are empty and then changing the font (-color) of empty folders afterwards.

In most cases I suppose this wouldn`t take much time but who knows.
Maybe threading can speed up the process on multi core CPUs.

Yes, you have my vote on this. It is a useablility improvement and something you could recommend for a lot of programs and a functionnality sorely lacking in Win Explorer also.

Yes, can be useful.

A related request: Display a warning when deleting non-empty folders. E.g. "This folder contains 4 subfolders and 24 files". Do you really want to delete it?"

Actually I got a worked out concept for a file manager and this particular idea is part of it.
