hi,

i'd like to see a feature which will lock the rotation angle for other files.
why?
on a folder (on a cdrom), i have several images, which are not rotated the way i like to.
for now, i have to rotate every image, to fit my rotation-pleasure :-)
but it would be more comfortable if i could "lock" the rotation status with a key(shortcut, or rightclick and activate i.e. : "[x] lock rotation") so that the next displayed image will have the same rotation and i do not have to rotate every image again.

its something like "zoom-lock"

what do you think?

Perhaps it would be easier to re-burn the CD?

i don't think so. and you know that it is easier (for the user of course) just to press a single key than reburn every cd/dvd with pictures that are not rotated the way he/she likes them to be.
should the user reburn every single cd which comes from a customer which has i.e. 120 wrong rotated pictures out of 3000. i don't think thats the easiest way :-)

no, my opinion is simple as the function i request :-)

xnview should remember the "rotation-angle", if the user wants xnview to do so.

in the advanced options, it should be possible (but not mandatory) to select to ignore the exif data or give them priority.

any idea?
