The name when using copy/paste

In Windows Vista, default behavior when using ctrl+c and ctrl+v, in the same folder, is the copy of the file with the name "oldname - Copy.ext". In XnView it's "Copy of oldname.ext" - the same as in Windows XP, I think. In XnView it should be the same as in using OS, or (better IMO) always the same (as in Vista) - "oldname - Copy.ext" - because it's very hard to find the copy with the XP behavior.

So again:

XP - Copy of oldname.ext
Vista - oldname - Copy.ext
XnView - Copy of oldname.ext (always)

I suggest to use the Vista behavior, always.

I'm not sure if it's a bug, or feature and perhaps it's a duplicate, but I didn't find it.

Agreed Vista behavior is better.

Agreed. I like 'copy#' and end of filename also.

Both renaming schemes have their advantage:
With "Copy of <filename>" you can easily find all copies and delete them because all copies stand next to each other. With "<filename> - Copy" original and copy are listed side by side and details like file size of original and copy can be compared more easily.

It would be perfect if XnView adopted the standard behaviour of the platform, i.e. on Windows XP it should rename to "Copy of <filename>" and on Vista to "<filename> - Copy".

Thanks, it was changed in v1.94, but in Vista " - Copy" is used, in XnView only " Copy", I think it should be the same, also it would be better and clearer.
