CD created for slide show. Minimal xnview installation on it. With own ini-file.
In dedicated directory. JPG files stored in separate folders.
The autorun.inf file has form as following:

[autorun]
open = .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.exe .\Malta_2006\ -ini .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.ini
icon = .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.exe,0
label = JPGs VIII

shell\browsing = &Browse all
shell\browsing\command = .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.exe . -ini .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.ini

shell\slides00 = slides '&all'
shell\slides00\command = .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.exe -slide .\_Tools_\slideshow\all.sld -ini .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.ini

shell\slides01 = slides '&Koeln'
shell\slides01\command = .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.exe -slide .\_Tools_\slideshow\koeln.sld -ini .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.ini

shell\slides02 = slides 'To B&ytow'
shell\slides02\command = .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.exe -slide .\_Tools_\slideshow\tobytow.sld -ini .\_Tools_\XnView\xnview.ini

While invoking "Run or install application" from cd drive (F:\) context menu following error apears
F: Application not found

While invoking "Start autoplay", then "Run or install application" following error comes up
as above

While invoking "Start autoplay", then "show folder in order to present files"
all is fine

While invoking "Browse all" the xnview
browser opens with windows\system32 as current directory

After having "slides all" selected in context menu
A error message comes up as in case of "Run or install...."

The same for all other slidesxx context menu entries
After having selected view with xnview the xnview browser starts with
cd root directory as current folder.

Where all these error messages from ?
All that on vista business 32 bit. Last 1.93 version of xnview.
On my xp pro sp3 the same cd works fine.
All files present on cd exactly in the directories as the autorun.inf file presents it.

No slideshow exe file is desired.

I've made a test on my harddisk and no problem. Could you try?
xnview.exe -ini \_Tools_\XnView\xnview.ini \Malta_2006\
