resize or user kills EXIF data

Hello

when I resize pictures from my digi cam the EXIF data seems to be touched more then necessary.

I think "-resize" changes the EXIF info for the orientation so that I cannot rotate pictures after I have resized them.

I'm using the following switches in two different batches, because I want to resize and rotete the pictures seperatly:

-resize 2000 1500 -rtype lanczos -rflag decr -q 90 -keepfiledate

-jpegtrans exif -keepfiledate

I don't know if I am to stupid to use nconvert in the right way or if the behaviour is intentional.

Not all data were lost but the information about the orientation were lost.

Whenver i resize a picture using Image -> Resize, the EXIF info (properties -> EXIF tab) disappears / gets lost! You need to reopen overwritten image file to see that the EXIF tab's disapperance!

Is the behaviour still existent in the latest version?
