Problem with the order of files - wrong file overwritten

I modify a picture (pic.jpg) und save it with a new name (pic_m.jpg).
Then klicking on "next file" will show the file after the next (new!) file (pict.jpg), but the title of the picture in the headline ist the title of the next (new) file (pic_m.jpg). If I modify this file (pict.jpg) too and save it with the suggested filename, the modified file (pic-m.jpg) will be overwritten.
I took some screenshots.
After saving the modified file with a new name, the filename in the headline should be changed to the new name.

I tried to emulate the scenario, but get never a collision or prob to rename anything.
pic.jpg -
pict.jpg -
pictu.jpg
- *pic.jpg save as.. pic_m.jpg
- next file will be logically pic_m.jpg
- so once again next file for the real new one
pic.jpg -
pic_m.jpg -
pict.jpg -
pictu.jpg
- *pict.jpg save as.. pict_m.jpg
- next file will be logically pict_m.jpg
- so once again next file for the real new one
pic.jpg -
pic_m.jpg -
pict.jpg -
pict_m.jpg -
pictu.jpg
and so on..
Possible reasons:
- selecting a file inside the saving dialog
- The auto complete feature of win has select a filename
Could you test this once again?

I get always the same problem again:
Sort by filename.
Modify the aktual file pic1.jpg in gray mode and save as pic1_gray.jpg, changing the showed filename pic.jpg into pic1_gray.jpg).
I cannot select a filename because i have to create a new file. No autocomplete function.
Klick on the Icon for the next file (don't go back to te basc view with return!).
I see the next coloured file pic2.jpg with the name pic1-gray.jpg.
Klick again on the Icon for the next file and I see pic3.jpg with the name pic2.jpg.

I have not this bug, but perhaps with 'After Save as, change filename'??

The bug persists.
Here is a new screenshot:
I open the first pic with RETURN. SAVE AS with new name, appending "k" at the end.
Klick on the arrow next picture, the saved pic is on the screen with the over-next pic. Saving this pic with SAVE AS and appending "k" - i get another pic with the name of the first pic (+kk).
I solved the problem in the settings:
There is a checkbox in the settings to pre-read the next picture (I don't know the name of the checkbox in english).
Sorry - the screenshot is in German:
The pre-read should recognize if the next pic has changed.
