Help for Show information wrote:This option enables overlaying text information on displayed image. Information is used only on display, it is NOT written to image file.
Help for Text setting wrote:You can choose font, background color and location for information text.
Hello Pierre, please, can you add transparency for background color or font shadowing for better readability? (Options: Options/View/Fulscreen/Show information/Text settings)

I am sorry for duplicity, but my searching for any previous suggestion for this problem was unsuccessful. On other side it is good to remind this problem again after more than 3 years.

+1 Currently it's really hard to read without background and a non-transparent background doesn't look that nice.
Easy for old eyes…

We vote here for adding transparency for background color or font shadowing for better readability of text information in fullscreen mode...
Hello Pierre, may I ask you:
Is this hard to implemented or it only have not priority on your todo list?

I'm waiting for a
similar feature more than 3 years, so it's probably not easy to implement, but also the
good news.

Opacity must be only on brackground color? Or on background color & text?
XnViewMP make opacity on background color & text for example...
