Stacked Tabs/Re-order Tabs?

I am wondering if there is any way to do this.

I frequently work with many images open in XnView. I use them for reference and must bounce back and forth between a number of the images to view them. The file names are descriptive so they can be somewhat large. This makes these multiple tabs go off the screen and you have to use the little arrows to scroll the tabs to find the image you want to see. Needless to say, this process kills the speed factor of quickly switching between images.

Is there any way to have like two rows of tabs? This would make it a bit easier to quickly switch between images without scrolling tabs as more tabs could be visible at once.

Also, it would be nice if (like in Firefox) you could re-order the tabs by dragging them to a new position in the order.

Thanks!

No way yet…

:) Hello Mike !
I am wondering if there is any way to do this.
• AFAIK, there is no way yet… Till today, Pierre has chosen the scrolling, and I agree that an option
to get two rows of tabs (or more, like we have in Total Commander) should be useful…

• Also, the sorting via D & D like in the most Web browsers is indeed missing, and I'ld support such wishes.

Hi Clo!

Sorry it's taken so long to get back to this... what a day!

Yes, I think these would be great things to have as XnView has really become one of my most important tools on a daily basis.

Thanks!
