If I copy or cut some files and then right-click any folder in browser and select "Paste" the file are pasted in the currently open folder in browser and not in the folder I selected.

Here's more specific way to reproduce:

1. Create new folder (e.g. folder1) and another folder (e.g. folder2) inside the folder1.
   (This is not really necessary, but it makes the bug more obvious)
2. Copy or cut any files from some other folder.
3. Go inside folder1 and right-click folder2 and select paste.
   Result: Files are created inside the folder1 and not inside folder2 like they should.

Gentlemen, what are your settings for Allow pasting to selected subfolder (Tools » Options... » Browser » File List » Misc)?

This new option was introduced with v1.94 (Annoying copy-paste behaviour).

This option should be enabled by default, i think.

I see... What an wacky option. Standard copy pasting behaviour is so obvious to me that it would have never even occur to me that there is an option to change it.

I also think this option should really be selected by default.

This option affects also keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+c, ctrl+x and ctrl+v) on the folder - and pasting the file into the current/selected folder using ctrl+v is NOT a standard behaviour. So it should stay disabled by default, or another option for keyboard shortcut should be added IMHO.

I am not fully agree, or i don't know where is the shortcuts problems.
If you right mouse click>copy an image, then mouse select a subfolder, then right mouse click>paste this image, this is a standard behavior, and does not affect the keyboard shortcuts (ctrl+c, ctrl+x and ctrl+v)?

OK, so it works strange, that option doesn't affect ctrl+x and ctrl+v, but it DOES affect ctrl+C and ctrl+v.

The problem is that if you select image in folder A, press ctrl+c, then go up for example - to another folder (B) - previous folder (A) is still selected, then press ctrl+v - standard (Windows - and all other programs I know) behaviour is to paste the image to actual folder (B), BUT if that option is enabled, the image, or rather its copy, is pasted to the selected folder (A).

... So it does affect also ctrl+x and ctrl+v sometimes, really strange.

I think the best way would be different (and standard) behaviour for mouse and keyboard shortcuts - until then "Allow pasing to selected subfolder" option should be disabled IMHO.

In fact, the problem isn't a shortcuts problem, but a folder selection mode behavior problem:
For me the problem is here :
If you use "the go up icon" the previous folder (A) is still selected...
in this case, it should be the folder(B) who is now selected, and (A) deselected.

And with this new folder selection mode behavior, no problems, this option can be enabled by default.

Between, it would be also interesting to have a contextual menu (copy this folder, cut this folder, paste inside this folder, rename, delete,...) on a right mouse click in a folder (tree panel).

I disagree, I like this behaviour - if you want to view images from many folders, then - if you exit folde 15, go up, then you want to go to folder 16, it's useful if the folder 15 is selected, then you can just press Right and Enter, otherwise - you'd have to find the folder 16 - and you must remember that you was in folder 15 before - BTW this is a standard behaviour (at least in Vista and all other programs, file managers...).

Anyway, this is just one example, if any folder is selected and ctrl+v is used, then the file must be pasted to the current folder, not the selected folder. Right click and paste is another problem and the current behaviour is not good.

As I said the best way would be different - and standard behaviour for mouse and keyboard shortcuts, because the current behaviour is not good - if the option "Allow pasing to selected subfolder" is enabled, or disabled..
