Dear Mr. Gougelet,

I am so happy to see XnView getting better and better with every new release!

I wonder if you could implement somehow the display of the rule of thirds grid while cropping. I am thinking about a checkbox, or a popup menu check option, that could toggle this grid. It could come in handy to the photographer who attempts the perfect crop, and it's done in many other photo-editing programs, from Adobe Photoshop to FastStone.

Merci beaucoup!

XnView MP (currently in alpha) has a greatly improved grid definition dialog that will allow all sorts of cartesian grids. For instance, you can set up a grid for "rule of thirds" quite easily.

The MP grid dialog design suggests that in the future, there will be a mechanism to name and save the MP grids, though you can't currently.
