Reqst: Thumb label resizing behaviors

As the thumbs get smaller, the labels beneath them become progressively less useful because their values are truncated.

When rescaling the thumbs with the slider, it would be helpful if the user could optionally choose a combination of the following behaviors:
  • 1. Rescale the thumb label fonts with the thumbs.

    and

    2. Hide/show thumb label components according to thumb size.
...that is, as thumbs are reduced in size, fewer labels would be displayed, according to a user-defined rule.

The user would prioritize visibility of thumbnail labels in the label definition dialog. Perhaps a rule as simple as: "hide/show labels from the bottom up when scaling thumbnails" would suffice.

1. You have the hint which can show useful info regardless of thumb size.
2. Let's say that I have a thumb of 300x200. From which size do you want to rescale / hide label components. Do you think that at each thumb resize to (re)calculate the actual text width?
