Hi all, sorry if this is in the wrong place or has been answered before.

There is so much info on here it is quite bewildering for a newbie like me!

XNView looks great and I am only just getting to grips with it and I wondered if it is possible in

VIEW - Thumbnail and Details mode
to change
DESCRIPTION and COMMENT to CAPTION and BYLINE?

Are these changeable?

Also is it possible to copy the iptc info and paste without having to save the whole box and open again?

Sorry but currently you can change items for this mode

Sorry if I wasn't very clear.

I love the programme, it's great.

As a photojournalist I use "caption" and "byline" a lot in my work.

In some programmes it is possible to view these details alongside each image, to be able to read what the photographs are about as well as to be able to see them.

The other issue is that if I take lots of images at a football match, for example, it is helpful to be able to copy the "caption" information that I write for the first image and paste it into the next photographs iptc box and ammend the names there.
