Downloading .AVI from camera

Hi!
I can download photos (.jpg) from my Canon camera in xnview but I do not see any of my videos (avi) so I can not download them.
What is strange is that xnview does play .avi files that are already in my computer.
I used the lattest version 1.95.4
Can somebody help me?
