It would have been a lot harder for me to learn Photoshop, if it hadn't been for PhotoBars (part of the Extensis PhotoTools plug-in suite).

I don't blame Yuri and the other authors of original skins. It's a lot of work to find meaningful symbols for 150+ commands.
For themes like Crystal, Gnome & Tango at least some extra icons can be picked from repositories of premade stuff.
Unfortunately we don't have any hard numbers on how many users actually add/remove/rearrange buttons on XnView's toolbar.
I'm not a big fan of forum polls, but in cases like this starting one could yield interesting results.
And I thought I had a rough weekend...
Hopefully everyone in the Charries/Lavielle family is doing well.

- ... a toolbar with my favorite skin (Mezich) but a limited number of commands to choose from or...
... a toolbar with (not quite as purdy looking) buttons for all the commands I need on a regular basis,...
