XnView Software

This is very important for me, the same options as in XnView Windows > general > keyb./mouse > Switching modes.

At least ability to switch between browser/viewer and viewer/fullscreen, browser/fullscreen with a mouse.

Currently there are some issues (perhaps even bugs) when switching between modes with mouse and keyboard.

1. Middle mouse button.

- middle clicking a thumbnail and in viewer is not working
- middle clicking a preview is working, but it has the same function as double click - open in viewer
- double middle clicking is working in viewer and browser, but it's useless and works the same as left button double click

2. Enter.

- pressing the Enter in browser is working - open image in viewer
- but it's not working vice versa - pressing the Enter in viewer to go to browser

3. F11.

- pressing F11 in viewer to go to fullscreen and back works good
- pressing F11 in browser opens image in fullscreen, but then F11 switch view to viewer instead of browser

...so I'd need options to be able to do this:

- F11 to switch between viewer<>fs and browser<>fs
- Double click to switch between viewer<>fs and browser<>fs
- Middle click to switch between viewer<>browser
- Enter to switch between browser, viewer and fs
fs = fullscreen

I would like to to see under Tools -> Options -> Under the General setting -> Keyboard/mouse -> Tab -> Switching Modes the selection made available to go from The Browser > Fullscreen > Browser. Or does anyone know how to add this as an available selection?

I support this request too.

At a minimum MP needs to behave exactly like 1.9x.

I do not see any benefit to reinventing a wheel that has been so well invented previously.

This is not to say that extended behaviors are not desirable... they certainly are.

But XnView MP's "base-line" behaviors should emulate 1.9x before extended behaviors get development attention.

Thanks for the reply! I found that what I wanted is implemented! I just had to take some time to get familiar with all the options. For those that are interested I went to Tools -> Options -> Under the General setting -> Keyboard/mouse -> Tab -> Switching Modes the selection I made was:

Use double click to switch between:
Browser <> Fullscreen | Viewer <> Fullscreen
