DPX problems

Hi,
I had a few issues when working with DPX files (using XnView 1.94.2). I'm using a 4096 x 2048 DPX file, 10-bit (I believe), 32,776KB file size:
1. If I take the file, open it XnView and then save it again as a DPX, without any changes, the file looks fine in XnView. If I close it and re-open the file that has been saved, the colours are fine and the file size is 24,578KB. I presume it's now in 8-bit mode?
2. If I do the same as in (1) but select 'Write DPX in 10bits/component', I get a file that is 32,770KB in size. The colours look fine until I close the app and reload the file. Now, the colours have changed. If do 'Image -> Swap -> RGB > BGR, the colours are back to normal. I then save the file and re-open it only to find that colours are incorrect. For some reason, this change does not get saved.
3. If I take (1), save it, open it again, save it again, and open it, the colours fine. It appears that opening/saving it twice fixes the problem.
Thanks
