No way of capturing Xnview drop down menus

Using the integrated capture tool, of course.
I couldn't get it to work nor using the delayed capture, nor the shortcut sensitive one.
It seems that when you open a dropdown menu, XnView temporarily disables the ability to make the capture and reactivates it as soon as you close the menu.
For what concerns the delayed capture, the timer keeps running while the menu is open.
Try this:
make a time delayed capture (5 sec) to capture a rectangle-shaped area;
open an XnView menu, e.g. View after about 1 sec;
keep it open for a while (>5 sec), then close it;
as soon as you've closed it, you will see the tool to draw the capture rectangle
This demonstrates that the timer keeps on going, but is somehow disabled
For what concerns the shortcut sensitive capture, the zoomed preview appears in the top-left corner of the screen as soon as you press the associated key even if you have a menu open. However, there's no way of drawing the rectangle at this point, so I press Esc to abort the capture
It works like a charm for other programs of course, I've just tried to take a capture of a Firefox menu and it's OK.
I don't know if it's worth fixing, I discovered it when trying to upload a capture in a bug reporting post in this forum
