Resize -Xnview totally crashes

So far no problems with the latest Xnview package on a Fedora 3
But when I try to resize a pic Xnview totally crashes ????

Strange, which size in pixels?

Type xnview -help, for more information
X Error of failed request: BadName (named color or font does not exist)
Major opcode of failed request: 45 (X_OpenFont)
Serial number of failed request: 9238
Current serial number in output stream: 9502
[jacpra@localhost ~]$
This is the error message that comes up on the consile when I click "resize"
The complete frame of Xnview disappears from the screen.
I have also the latest java
