DICOM - Spectroscopy files, Application crashes

Hi,
XnView 1.96.1 and XnView MP 0.12 for Windows (WinXP SP3) give me some trouble with DICOM Spectroscopy files.
The Browser freezes when trying to create or show a thumbnail of a spectroscopy file and I've got to stop the task and kill the application.
My data usually consists of DICOM Pictures, but in some folders there are spectroscopy files as well. The Linux versions of XnView 1.70 and XnView MP 0.12 are working well with these files. There's just no picture or thumbnail to see, but the rest of the folder is displayed correctly and the application keeps working.
I'd be happy to send you some of these files.
