How to change orientation info inside image?

Is it possible to set current image orientation as default? There is information about orientation in some pictures, but it's incorrect sometimes. Some devices (cell phones for example) use this information and rotate image automatically, so I need to change that information inside image.

Thanks.

Wow! Thanks, but it's extremely well-hidden!!

Then please add this option to "Metadata" menu...

- One item with submenu - all positions (the same as in EXIF pane).
- One item to use current orientation as default (if possible).

It's also not easy to find these pictures, I'd have to use option "Rotate based on EXIF value" on each picture to identify which have wrong rotation information, then rotate them back and fix the orientation info, which is practically impossible. There is a way - use option to auto-rotate images by EXIF orientation, but then also wrong rotated images will be rotated automatically. I suggest another feature:

- Use "file info" thumbnail icon for images which contain orientation information, similar to "automatic rotation", or perhaps the same, also if auto-rotation is not enabled.

Thank you.
