XnView Software

Hi,

I tried out the XnView Deluxe 2.18-1.74.1 (18 Oct 04) recently because a friend wanted to burn a large slide show presentation he compiled using the free edition. I thought it would be easy for him to just buy the Deluxe ed and burn it on DVD.

His slide show included about 1Gig of JPG, AVI, and MPG files.

Problem
1) Create EXE/SCR burned ok, but only the JPG files - ignored AVIs and MPGs.
2) Create CD/VCD/SVCD started encoding the JPG files ok, but at the first AVI it stopped with "Loading Failed" error. Same thing later with MPGs.

Tried it on two machines with same results. Pity really, because it looked so easy and it was the only extra feature that we really needed.

Currently AVI or MPEG can not be used in this feature.

Could any other video format be used in this feature in XnView Deluxe? Or is it not possible to mix pictures and video in a single CD slideshow output yet?

I am wondering if I should continue looking for a program that can do this.

Currently not possible to mix video & picture.
