A few questions regarding XnView

Having used CompuPic Pro for many years and finding it's support is now defunct, plus it doesn't like Vista/Windows 7 or the Aero desktop, I've been searching for an alternative. I tried ACDSee Photo Manager 2009 but that crashed more times than the riders in the Tour de France!! Then I found XnView....
Now this does most everything that Compupic did and has been rock solid since I installed it, now I'd like to know if the following can be replicated in XnView that I could do in CompuPic:
1. Turn off Thumbnail creation by default and do it 'on demand' rather than all the time.
2. Turn off Thumbnails on Folders, I don't need that feature.
3. Single left click to exit Full Screen view.
4. Slideshows to start immediately, not keep showing the config screen each time, just remember the settings and play the slide show.
5. Left Click + Drag (Rubber Banding) to select files in the Browser View.
6. Select files in Full Screen View via Spacebar so when I'm browsing through files in Full Screen view I can select the ones I need and exit back to the Browser View and see them all selected.
I think that's all I need for now
I had 30 mins or so using the search but couldn't find anything to solve the above queries, any help appreciated.
