1. Open this image in XnView 1.96.2
2. It shows correctly.
3. Image -> 32 bit

Hello !• That image is a GIF- 8 BPP, the colour of transparency is green…
- Actually, it seems that there is a bug in the menus, since the 32 bits option is not meant for GIF normally IMHO (despite one can have 24 BPP GIFs…), it might be greyed out.
- With 32 BPP, the transparency needs an alpha channel which indeed is missing here.
- You could try to save the image as i.e. PNG 32 BPP, then set the transparency with some drawing tool like GFIE 2.0,
I succeed in that way.
