XnView Software

I have just clicked [x] to close expanded preview window and now it's greyed out and I can't enable preview. Perhaps it's possible somehow but I don't know how.

XnViewMP Version 0.20 (Sep 25 2009), Windows Vista 32 bit SP2.

Edit: Workaround to enable preview:

prevDocked=false

...but it's not perfect, preview is just as a tab together with the file info (properties, exif...), so it's still broken.

Any idea how to re-enable preview without removing the ini file?

I have the same problem. Preview panel displays and can be dragged around, but no preview image appears in it.

Restarting the program re-enables the Preview.

I saw the preview image in the window, but when I've closed it, I couldn't re-enable it, only partially by editing the ini file.

Any idea how to re-enable the preview without re-configure all the settings?

Remove [Preview] section

Thanks, I tried that already, but it doesn't work, the only workaround that help a bit is:

prevDocked=false

This way preview is visible, but only as a tab.

What I want is a separate "Preview" pane together with "Info" pane, like this (fresh xnview.ini)...

Steps to re-enable preview:

- menu - view - layout - free
- right click on "Info" title tab
- select "dettach* preview panel"

* shouldn't be this "detach"?

Anyway, there should be easier way to do it IMHO.
