Better control over thumb sizes in thumbstrips

Simply said: a good thumbnail size in the browser is either too small or too big for the thumbstrips displayed in Compare and Fullscreen.

Please allow independent sizing for thumbs in the browser vs. thumbs in the thumbstrips.

Adjustment of the thumbstrip splitters should dynamically resize the thumbs! It is OK to "resample" the thumbstrip thumbs rather than "resize" them in the thumb cache.

Indeed, I think it is time to address the thumbnail size issue before MP gets too far advanced. Many things depend from it!

Hi Pierre...

In 0.25, there does not appear to be a method to resize the fullscreen thumbstrip: no controls or splitters. Perhaps the implementation is incomplete.

But the thumbstrip in fullscreen is broken anyway:

1. Display an image full screen
2. Display the thumbstrip and pin it.
3. Point at the border between the thumbstrip and the image
4. Thumbstrip grows taller, image shrinks.
5. Go to 3

Eventually the image disappears.

Also notice: the thumbnail cartouches resize, but the thumb images themselves do not.

Hi Pierre

In 0.26 the full-screen thumbstrip is correctly resizable, but there is a problem similar to the one I have reported for the 0.26 Compare thumbstrip here.

To reproduce:

1. Display an image full screen
2. Display the thumbstrip and pin it.
3. Drag the thumbstrip margin UP to make the thumbs smaller
4. Notice flickering of thumbs at a certain size
