Thumbnails are re-created if mode is changed

I think it's not necessary. To reproduce:
- disable cache
- go to browser and wait until thumbs are created
- go to viewer and back to browser
= thumbnails are re-created again
I'm not sure if this can be considered as a bug, but it's quite annoying, thumbnails should be retained until the path will be changed, alternatively option would help:
If thumbnail cache is disabled then:
( ) remove thumbnails on folder change
(o) remove thumbnails on exit
Perhaps this option might replace even the thumbnail cache option "Enable caching". Then 3 options would be needed - to always enable caching, remove thumbs on exit - and remove thumbs on folder change.
Current behavior (remove thumbs after mode change) is not needed at all IMHO.
Edit: Thumbnails are re-created also when comparing images - if that dialog is opened, thumbnails are re-created every time I delete a duplicate file - therefore it's freezing and quite unusable. I'm not sure if this is a bug
, but it should be definitely changed IMO.
