Batch conversion - selection of parameters

Hello,
I've recently discovered XnView and love the speed and high level of functionality it offers. I've been using it to edit images after scanning antique catalogues and books which I convert to PDF files. This usually involves cropping each file as the scanned page is often smaller than the scanner. As each page is the same size (and I make sure each is aligned in the same place on the scanner) I can use the batch conversion feature with 'crop' to do all at once. Working out the input parameters for the crop (x, y, width, height) makes perfect sense but still involves thought each time.
I wondered if you might consider adding a button by the crop parameter input field to import these values from the present rectangular selection in the background image (being grayed out if no image was open). Alternatively having a button by the parameter input to switch focus back to an XnView window to draw such a rectangle would be another way of doing it.
I think this method would make it much easier to perform identical crops on multiple files, where the final size is essentially arbitrary and therefore the x, y, width, height aren't really in themselves important.
Hope you'll consider it.
Many thanks,
Alex
