How to install in Ubuntu 9.1 Karmic

I love the Windows version of Xnview but I've no idea how to install it in 64-bit Ubuntu 9.1
I appreciate the great task of porting this wonderful software to Linux, I can't wait to try it

You have just to install Wine before.

Thank you, I thought these versions are NATIVE Linux (or MacOSX) so that Wine is not needed

Right sorry, Wine is only needed for the windows version v1.9x
If you only want the XnView MP Linux version (v0.21beta), you don't need Wine.
Just download it here and execute xnview.sh :

Thanks, it worked, it looks like a simplified version. Double-clicked on the .sh file.... shhhhhhh, magic Linux stuff, lol
