Exported PDF buggy

Hi everyone! PDFs exported by XnView 1.97 on Win XP SP3 Pro 32bit are buggy here. 100% reproduction rate. All PDF I created with XnView had this error which is nasty because it blocks any use of the document that requires saving the file (properties, split, combine, rotate...). As a workaround, I combine/collate/concatenate the one PDF in PDFTKBuilderPortable into a new PDF, which is nonsense as operation (combining only 1 document?!) but creates a PDF that works. Binary compare showed many differences in prolog & epilog, no differences in image data.
Reproduction: Open any pic, e.g. a JPG. File - Save as, choose format PDF, save. Open in Adobe Acrobat 6, it's displayed fine. File - Save as, try to save it and you'll get the error message "The document could not be saved. There was a problem reading this document (135)." In Acrobat 5, it's 113 instead of 135. Searching the web, I only read about "pdf with images" or "unicode and/or space with embedded fonts" being a possible cause.
pdf bug.zip consisting of source JPG, exported PDF and repaired PDF are available for 90 days. If anyone wants to put it on long term available web space, feel free to do so
