RC1: Thumbnails don't display correctly.

I have some digital photos.

Here's the problem:
1. The photo's height is bigger than it's width.
- So, it should "stands up".
2. The Preview panel shows correctly.
- That is, it stands up.
3. But the thumbnail doesn't.
- It lies down.

Can you fix it ?
Thanks a lot.

@nelson:
If I got you right ...

1. is a portrait
2. preview is fine
3. thumb isn't automatically rotated

You have to check:
Options -> Browser -> Thumbnail -> Use embedded thumbnail
Options -> Read -> Rotate images based on EXIF orientation

... should work!

Thank you for your reply. But it doesn't work.

Let me speak more detailly.
1. I have a portrait. Assume it is 800x600.
2. I use other image viewer's JPEG Lossless Transformation to rotate it.
3. Now, preview is fine, but thumb isn't.
4. Other image viewer, such as IrfanView or XnView 1.74, works fine.

So, I think this is a bug.

Forgot to say,
I had emptied cache, also I refreshed and restarted XnView.
But it can't work fine.

Do you have enabled the cache? Do you use embedded thumbnail?

This bug - Thumbnail not updated after JPEG lossless rotation - has been fixed.

This one has been open for a long time and never been reproduced properly. So I'm closing it now. Closed.
