Hello. My english is not quite good enough so I could find an answer for myself, so creating a topic :P
Can I resize canvas automatically using ratio? So it would make a 2048 x 1024 picture a 2048 x 2048 without having to add that extra 1024 by hand?
I have to recanvas many rectangular photo into square ones, so it would make a great help.
Hope I expressed myself clearly :)

thanks for your great software! I remember my days using acdsee as hell. XnView is small and fast, although it has almost all the features needed. That what keeps it on my PC for years!

Oh, and Happy New Year!

well that's what i'm asking: how to do it? I don't see a way. Maybe I just missed it :P The question is not about resizing many pictures at once, it's about how to resize canvas using ratio.

Batch convert has an additional "delta" feature. And/or changing parameters from pixels to %.

Yes. But I have to add the needed value % or pixels for every single photo, because the measures are not the same. I need XnView to take ratio 1.33 and make 1, no matter what size it is.
Example. Two pictures 200 x 100 and 300 x 100
These have ratio 2 and 3. I set ratio 1 and XnView make first one 200 x 200 and the second 300 x 300
Sorry I that what you meant. Maybe I just can't understand :)

This is sad :) Should I create a feature request or this topic can be moved?
