Have some way to set Xnview view a lot of files faster ?

For now what I know is to turn off "read one image ahead" feature, it only slow down while viewing many images continually.

Say frankly I not even understand what this feature made for. At first I thought it work like ACDSEE scanning files (that make it can open a lot of image files fast).

However, have some way to set this software run faster beside what I did ?

If you don't use "read one image ahead" feature, the navigation is quicker?
