Cannot open files with Japanese filename

i use chinese windows xp
i can use XnView to open the chinese name file .
but it can not open the Japanese name file.
can XnView support Unicode?

Only the
beta version of XnView MP has support for unicode.

Full Unicode support is in XnView MP and this XnView version will replace all existing versions in the coming future
