Hello John !
• This doesn't occur here, BUT I get a “
Copy of… .ext” of the dragged file.
- Prior, I see briefly a dialog box which disappears when I release the mouse button reaching the target place.
- Pressing
Shift doesn't change anything, the [+] sign is removed from the cursor, but the copy is done too.
• Did I miss something ?

Hey Clo!
In 1.97, dragging a thumb within the folder creates a copy of the file. This is very useful.
In MP 0.21, dragging the thumb rearranges the thumbs into a custom sequence. This is also very, very useful!
But I can't find the MP option that switches between the two settings ...
Perhaps the
copy mode (which is the default for you???) is incompletely implemented and that the
rearrange mode has a bug.

This is fixed in MP 0.25(W).
The implementation is good, too.
To rearrange the thumbs, drag the selection to the right edge of the thumb just prior to where you want to place the selected images. A narrow drop point will appear on the right edge of the thumb. When you see the drop-point, let go the mouse button and the images will move to the designated place in the thumbs sequence.
To make a fast copy of the selected images instead, just drag them anywhere else on the thumb panel and the copies will be created.
Excellent!
